4-H camps this month

Williamson County 4-H is hosting three Summer Fun Day Camps from 9 a.m. to noon on three Wednesdays in July, and there’s still time to register.

Williamson County 4-H is hosting three Summer Fun Day Camps from 9 a.m. to noon on three Wednesdays in July, and there’s still time to register.

The camps are for kids ages 8 to 18, and you do not have to be a member of 4-H to attend.

The location is the County Extension Office, Room AG205 at 100 Wilco Way in Georgetown. Registration forms and payment are due to the Extension Office. Download registration packets at https://williamson.agrilife.org/4-h-camps.

Camp dates are as follows:

• July 6: Simple Snacks – explore the food and nutrition project area by making crackers, jam and butter;

• July 13: Crafty Creations – explore the fashion and interior design project area by sewing your own apron;

• July 20: Food in Focus – explore the photography project area by learning photography basics and food presentation skills;

Cost is $60 for all three camps or $25 per person per camp. You may pay by cash or check. Space is limited.
