Diane B Schafer, 70, of Round Rock, passed away at her home surrounded by family Dec. 19, 2021.
Diane was born Feb. 5, 1951, to Paul and Cecelia Buenger, and has an older sister, Bonnie Slack.
She is a 1969 graduate of Taylor High School and Texas State in 1991. Most of her career was working at the Department of Human Services in Austin.
Diane was preceded in death by her parents, Paul and Cecelia Buenger.
She is survived by her husband of 48 years, their son Brian (Jennifer) and daughter Natalie (Junior). She is also survived by her beloved grandchildren, the source of her joy and inspiration, grandson Logan and granddaughters ZoeJane, Gabriela and Alexandria as well as a much loved aunt, and several nieces, nephews, cousins and very close friends.

A memorial service will be held Jan. 30, at 2 p.m. at Immanuel Lutheran Church, 411 County Road 401 in Taylor.
Austin Cremation provided the services to confirm death.
