Dear Editor,
I just want to thank the fire department for the way they handled two brush fires on property June 24. One was in the morning and on later in the day.
They remained on the scene all day long to keep an eye on hot spots.
They had a rough time controlling the burn since I have no fire hydrant near my property. They told me they had to go to Main Street to refill their trucks.
Thanks again fire department for a great job.
