This past week the Girl Scouts of Central Texas-Taylor the Texas Skies Service Unit, held a day camp at the Murphy Park Pavilion from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. June 13-17.

For those who are not girl scouts, they are welcome to join in on the fun as “Tagalongs” can come in and be a part of the camp.

Girl’s age 5-7 are welcome to join starting as a Daisy, then Junior, cadet and ambassador and then Forever Girl Scout.

“This is my second year as an adult volunteer,” said Bubbles. “Daisy leaders this year were ‘Stitch’ and ‘Toothless.’ They are some of our most hyperactive counselors. They get the girls to sing and play games.”
