Margaret Ann Macha Gola was born Oct. 14, 1945, to Frank and Mary Macha in Baytown. She passed away peacefully at her home on June 3, 2022, after a several year bout with dementia.
Marge was a 1964 graduate of Lee High School in Baytown and received her nursing certification from Lee College in 1966. She practiced nursing for over 40 years in the Baytown and Liberty areas working in hospitals, doctor’s offices and home healthcare agencies. She truly enjoyed the healthcare profession and taking care of her patients.
Marge loved working in her yard, sewing/quilting, cooking and baking. Her greatest loves were dancing, her grandchildren and spoiling her dogs.
She is survived by her husband of 56 years, Charles J. Gola; sons, Charles D. Gola and wife Lori, and Chris D. Gola and wife Shauna; daughter, Diana M. Fregia and husband Chris; and grandchildren Celeste, Charles A., Jace, Jackson, Lindsey, Jenna, Madelyn, and Claire Hovey and husband Taylor; and great grandson Hayes.
A memorial will be held for the immediate family to laugh, cry and celebrate the wonderful memories that Marge left with us.
