Ruth Catlett Meiske passed away June 3, 2022, at the age of 99. She was surrounded by family at the Heartstone Nursing Home.
Ruth was married to Alfred Meiske. Alfred passed away July 1981.
Ruth was born in Wewoka, Oklahoma, to Ancie Bell Catlett and James Edward Catlett, March 14, 1923.
Ruth will always be remembered for her deep faith in God and her good home cook meal. She made the best fried chicken and chicken fried steak.
She was preceded in death by her brothers and sisters, Bonnie Beck, Odra Catlett, Audra Creech and Dorothy Carter; and children, Wayne Meiske and Carolyn Roberts.
Ruth is survived by her children, Ray Meiske and David Meíske. Ruth was blessed to have many grandchildren, Will Meiske, Chris Meiske, Diane Seidel, Charles Meiske, Daniel Meiske, Tammy Seidel and Alesha Biel.
A funeral will be held Wednesday, June 22, at 1 p.m. at Christ Fellowship Church, 1517 McLain Street.
Burial will follow at Taylor City Cemetery.
