Four Taylor Area Baseball and Softball (TABS) teams will be playing the PONY regional tournament in Hutto starting Friday, June 24.
The league is currently playing in their all-star season. This past weekend began the sectional round for both baseball in Buda and softball in Round Rock. The teams include the TABS 10 and under baseball, 12 and under baseball, 8 and under softball and 12 and under softball.
Formerly known as Taylor Little League, TABS is a chartered member of PONY for baseball and softball divisions.
TABS is a nonprofit organization run solely by dedicated volunteers to encourage participation, develop character and discipline, promote teamwork, and advocate citizenship and community pride. The goal of all TABS programs is to provide quality instruction in the development of baseball/softball skills, sportsmanship, honesty, loyalty, courage, competitiveness and fair play.
