Hutto begins city manager process

HUTTO – At a special called city council meeting this past Thursday, June 9, the Hutto city council released the plans on filling the city manager position. On Thursday, June 23, the Hutto City Council will release the names of the five or six candidates for the city manager position.

HUTTO – At a special called city council meeting this past Thursday, June 9, the Hutto city council released the plans on filling the city manager position.

On Thursday, June 23, the Hutto City Council will release the names of the five or six candidates for the city manager position. The following Wednesday, June 29, there will be a public meet and greet. Followed by an employee panel and a city council panel June 30, open to the public.

Once the panels are complete, the city council will reconvene in executive session and offer a potential contract. The Emergency Services District, Hutto Police Department and Hutto Independent School District will be a part of the staff interview panel.
