Civil service exams offered

If you want to and are eligible to be a police officer in Taylor, now’s the time. The Taylor Police Department will hold a civil service police examination at 9 a.m.

If you want to and are eligible to be a police officer in Taylor, now’s the time.

The Taylor Police Department will hold a civil service police examination at 9 a.m. on Thursday, June 30, at the Taylor Public Library, 801 Vance St. in Taylor. All applicants must meet minimum eligibility requirements for police officers outlined by the Local Government Code Civil Service Chapter 143.

Candidates must submit their application and all required documents by Monday, June 27. Failure to complete the online application and submit the required documents by the above date shall render the candidate ineligible to take the exam.
