‘Furassic World’ this weekend

“This weekend, experience the epic adoption event of Furassic World as two ancient species vie for their chances at new and exciting adventures as your new best friend,” said Williamson County Regional Animal Shelter (WCRAS) in a press release. “This weekend, experience the epic adoption event of Furassic World as two ancient species vie for their chances at new and exciting adventures as your new best friend,” said Williamson County Regional Animal Shelter (WCRAS) in a press release. Which species will come out on top – the Dogasaurus Rex or the Catociraptor? Free adoptions for all will help determine the victor in this age-old battle.”

WCRAS is again over capacity in its medium-to-large adult dogs and now, with kitten season in full swing, space for the influx of cats and kittens has run short. In an effort to alleviate the space crisis, WCRAS is hosting a free adoption event, thanks to a generous grant from Petco Love, all weekend, June 11-12, for all adoptable animals.

“Come to the shelter to adopt a dog or cat to help us make space, ” says Misty Valenta, animal services director, “You can add to your own Furassic World while contributing to our lifesaving mission.”

This adoption special ends on Sunday, June 12. To preview the adoptable pets at the Williamson County Regional Animal Shelter, visit http://www.wilcopets.org. Be sure to click on a pet’s image while there to learn more about him or her.
