MAY 31
Caleb Allen, 29, of Taylor, at 10:09 a.m., in the 2200 block of West Second Street, officers apprehended Allen, who had an outstanding warrant out of Taylor for aggravated sexual assault of a child, a first-degree felony.
JUNE 1
Moses Ross, 49, of Taylor, at 10:15 a.m., in the 100 block of Second Street, officers learned that Ross had been arrested by another agency for an outstanding warrant out of Taylor for assault with injury/family violenceenhanced, a third-degree felony.
JUNE 3
Christian Vargas, 34, of Taylor, at 9:54 a.m., in the 600 block of West Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard, officers responded to a report of a subject throwing rocks at their home. Officers made contact with Vargas, who had an outstanding warrant out of Taylor for assault on a public servant, a thirddegree felony. Vargas went inside his home when officers attempted to place him under arrest for the warrant. Vargas then began shooting in the direction of officers with a pellet gun. Vargas also threw items at officers, striking an officer with a padlock. Vargas threw a long-handled axe in the direction of officers, narrowly missing. Vargas was eventually placed under arrest for the warrant and was further charged with assault on a public servant, a third-degree felony, and two counts of attempted assault on a public servant, a state jail felony.
JUNE 4
Geneva Garza, 44, of Taylor, at 11:15 a.m., at the Luxury Inn at 2003 W. 2nd St., officers responded to a report of a criminal trespass. Officers observed Garza on the property. Garza had been previously issued a criminal trespass warning, barring her from being on the property. Garza was placed under arrest and charged with criminal trespass, a class B misdemeanor.
Gil Camacho, 25, of Taylor, at 10:51 p.m., in the 1600 block of Grace Street, officers conducted a traffic stop in which Camacho was a passenger. Camacho had two outstanding warrants — smuggling of aliens out of the U.S. Marshall’s Office and duty on striking an unattended vehicle, a class B misdemeanor out of Williamson County. Camacho was placed under arrest for the warrants.
