There’s an opportunity for food, fun and to keep your basketball skills warmed up over the summer.
Basketball in the Park 2022 begins Tuesday, June 7, from 7 to 9 p.m. and continues every Tuesday and Thursday this summer. The program ends July 28 with a pool party.
In addition to basketball, dodgeball and art and crafts will be available at the events. Lots of food will reportedly be on hand.
Fannie Robinson Park, 260 S. Dolan St. in Taylor, will be the event site. Taylor ISD families can attend for free, although parents must accompany their child.
Sponsors of the event include the Taylor Lions Club, ReMax, S&D Plumbing, the Rotary Club of Taylor, First United Methodist Church, Everest Plumbing, Taylor Brethren Church and A&G Heating & Air.
