A summer program will help feed local children.
Taylor ISD has announced its summer food feeding program has begun and will run through Aug. 12. Services will be closed during the week of July 4.
This program allows the district to feed breakfast and lunch to any child ages 18 and under. This is a free service to all children in the city, regardless of what school they attend. Students that attend summer school will receive free breakfast and free lunch in the campus cafeteria.
Meals will be available at the café at Main Street Intermediate Event Center at 3101 N. Main St. in Taylor. To reach the MSI café, enter through the front entrance of Main Street Event Center. Children must be remain on property to eat.
Breakfast is 8 to 8:30 a.m. Lunch is 11:30 a.m. to noon.
