NATIONAL POLICE WEEK RECOGNIZED

On April 28, the Taylor City Council recognized National Police Week, May 11-17, and Peace Officers Memorial Day, May 15, with a proclamation to honor fallen officers and their families. In 2021, there were 609 officers killed in the line of duty. In the history of the Taylor Police Department, there have been two officers killed in the line of duty.
