GRANGER FARMERS MARKET
Fresh fruits, vegetables, jelly, canned and baked goods, eggs, artisan crafts and more will be at the Granger Main Street Farmers Market on the first and third Saturdays from April through October from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the corner of W. Davilla and Walton streets in Granger.
THIRD THURSDAY
Every third Thursday of each month, Taylor’s downtown businesses will be open past 5 until 8 p.m. and offer in-store specials, live music, door prizes and other activities. The event is designed to encourage residents to shop locally and become familiar with the shops in the downtown area.
COVID-19 & FLU VACCINES
The Williamson County and Cities Health District will have a walk-in clinic for COVID-19 and flu vaccinations every Tuesday from 9 a.m. to noon and 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. The Taylor building is located at 115 W. 6th St., one block from Main Street north of downtown Taylor. TAX ASSISTANCE
The Taylor Public Library, 801 Vance St., is hosting two tax assistance programs free of charge.
VITA (Volunteer Income Tax Assistance) will be on Saturdays from 11:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. VITA takes walk-ins only. No reservations required.
AARP Tax Assistance will be available Wednesdays noon to 4 p.m., but online reservations are required for this service.

HOT RODS
Saturday, May 14 — Hot Rods at the Hall will be from 9 a.m. to noon at American Legion Post 526, 12141 FM 2268 East in Holland. There will be six classes of vehicles spanning to before 1945. There will be food and drinks. Signup is 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. for $20.
RED SPRING FEST
Sunday, May 15 — Our Lady of Guadalupe will host its Annual Red Spring Festival from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. at 111 W. Rio Grande St. in Taylor. There will be food booths, games, music and more.
PRIVATE APPLICATOR TRAINING
Tuesday, May 17 — The Williamson County AgriLife Extension Office is offering inperson private pesticide applicator training from 1 to 5 p.m. Cost is $60. CZECH SOCIETY
Wednesday, May 18 — Travis-Williamson Counties Czech Heritage Society will meet from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m. at the Springhill Catfish Restaurant, 2505 W Pecan St. in Pflugerville.
Eating is optional, but the restaurant has a buffet 11 a.m. untill 2 p.m. and a special senior deal starting at 2 p.m.
