A kitchen fire Wednesday morning was put out before causing too much damage.
On May 11, a mobile home near Ray Elementary School in Hutto had what was described as a small fire in in its kitchen.
“No one was at the home at the time of the fire and no one was injured,” said Eric G. Woods, Hutto Fire Rescue fire marshal. “The fire seemed to start in the kitchen area of the home but was quickly extinguished by the firefighters.”
The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
