You are invited to put on your fringe and have a blast at the Taylor Chamber’s 1920-style Casino Night Gala Saturday, May 21 at 6 p.m. at the WilCo Expo Center, 5350 Bill Pickett Trail.

“What a night this is going to be,” Gala Chair Julie Downs of Tierra Grande Real Estate said. “We are going to cast off the misery of the last few years and celebrate a new age of the Golden 20s.”

The event will include a variety of casino games including Las Vegas-style slot machines, blackjack, craps, roulette and Texas Hold’em with prizes awarded for the top winners.

Guests are encouraged to put on their best 1920-era style to add to the fun whether it’s flapper, mob or inspired by your own ideas of the Roaring 20s. Black-tie is always optional.

The night will include heavy hors d’oeuvres, libations and a silent auction with amazing items including numbered and signed a kinetic sculpture by David C. Roy called Kaleidoscope and a contemporary painting by Vladimir Nazarov.

Individual tickets are on sale for $75 each or two for $125 and sponsorships are still available now. Both can be purchased at the chamber office, 1519 N. Main. Tickets are also available online at www.taylorchamber.org.

Support for the chamber provides programs and services that expand the economy and prosperity of our community through advocacy and education for business owners, promotion of local events and attractions for drawing visitors, and welcoming new residents to our community.
