Just because you are aging doesn’t mean you automatically come down with arthritis. There are many different types of joint pain that one can have that are not arthritis. However, if you are suffering from the common symptoms of arthritis such as chronic pain that seems to just continuously persist and exacerbates at times, swelling around your joints, joint redness, decreased range of motion, then it is possible that you may be suffering from arthritis.

Many individuals who have arthritis can improve their situation to the point where they are fully functional and living a life nearly pain free. Two main things to handle with arthritis are: 1. Reduce inflammation in the joints and 2. Help restore motion back to those joints so normal blood flow and joint function can occur.

A common thought with arthritis is oh it hurts so I won’t move – that is completely incorrect arthritic joints must move if there is any chance of restoring function back into them.
