Improvements to a local county road have been completed.
Williamson County and Taylor’s municipal government invites residents to a ribbon cutting for the County Road 101 project. The event will be Wednesday, May 4, at 1:30 p.m. at the intersection of county roads 101 and 368.
Approximately 3.2 miles of roadway was reconstructed. Two 12-foot lanes now have left turn lanes at the intersections of county roads 394 and 368, along with Chandler Road with two bridge structures.
The project was designed by Brown & Gay Engineering. The contractor was James Construction Group, and the project was completed within two years for $13,034,774. The project cost was funded with voterapproved 2019 road bond funds.
