Friday afternoon, firefighters from the area helped contain a fire at the Balcones Resources building, 9801 Chandler Road in Taylor.
No injuries were reported. Some of the flames reached the highway as winds were 15 to 20 miles per hour. The fire did not cross the highway.
Around 2 p.m., Chandler Road was closed to traffic as firefighters worked to douse the fire.
