Angelo State dean’s list includes locals

Angelo State University in San Angelo, Texas, has announced the students achieving the dean's list designation for the 2021 fall semester. Taylor residents on the dean’s list include Makayla Benkula, majoring in criminal justice; Andrew Dille, animal science; Alyssa Nira, interdisciplinary studies; and Tristan White, English.

Angelo State University in San Angelo, Texas, has announced the students achieving the dean's list designation for the 2021 fall semester.

Taylor residents on the dean’s list include Makayla Benkula, majoring in criminal justice; Andrew Dille, animal science; Alyssa Nira, interdisciplinary studies; and Tristan White, English. Hutto residents on the dean’s list are Madailein Donohoe, social work; Madison Kuenstler, biology; Marissa Martins, communication; and Breanna Sheppard, kinesiology.

To be eligible for the ASU Dean's List, full-time undergraduate students must maintain a 3.25 or better grade point average on a 4.0 scale.

Angelo State University, founded in 1928, is a four-year public school in Texas. Students conduct undergraduate research, rank above state acceptance averages for professional schools, and receive personal access to instructors and progressive facilities.

The school is part of the Texas Tech University System. Angelo State has been ranked as one of The Princeton Review's "Best Colleges" in the nation since 2010 and has received College of Distinction recognition. The school has been ranked as a Military Friendly School by Victory Media (VIQTORY) for 13 consecutive years.
