Hutto police chief gets to work

HUTTO – On Monday, April 18, Jeff Yarbrough started serving the Hutto community as chief of police. His father, also a longtime member of the law enforcement community, pinned him during the ceremony.

HUTTO – On Monday, April 18, Jeff Yarbrough started serving the Hutto community as chief of police.

His father, also a longtime member of the law enforcement community, pinned him during the ceremony.

Also in attendance at the swearing-in were outgoing police chief Jim Stuart, City Manager Isaac Turner, Williamson County Sheriff Mike Gleason along with Yarbrough’s family, officers and city staff.

The public is invited to the formal swearing-in ceremony at this Thursday’s Hutto City Council meeting at 7 pm at City Hall.
