On Tuesday, April 26, from 9 a.m. to noon, the Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Office is presenting a program to help with your ponds.
Guest speaker Brittany Chesser, aquatic vegetation program specialist with Texas A&M, will address these topics:
• the importance of your pond’s water chemistry;
• aquatic vegetation identification; and
• pond management strategies for landowners.
Chesser will demonstrate an on-site analysis of pond water.
Lunch is included. Two continuing education units are offered.
The cost is $25 and you can register at williamson.agrilife.org. The event will be at the Lake Hutto Park Pavilion, 805 Estate Drive. Attendees are encouraged to bring a lawn chair and water proof footwear.
