People can hear what Jesus Christ said prior to his crucifixion, according to the Bible.
On Saturday, April 16, churches of Taylor and the surrounding area will host the 7 Last Sayings of Christ, a pre-Easter service and community fellowship. The event will be at Fannie Robinson Park’s pavilion, 206 S. Dolan St. in Taylor.
The pavilion has limited seating. Attendees are encouraged to bring a folding chair.
Pastors and ministers from the Taylor area will participate in the seven sayings. The sayings are what the Bible states Jesus said before being put on the Cross.
In addition to the service, a community egg hunt will have a check-in starting at 12:30 p.m., along with games and activities for children during the service. Refreshments will also be provided.
