TAYLOR POLICE DEPARTMENT ARREST REPORT

MARCH 25

Ralph Stiver, 29, of Taylor, at 1:18 p.m., 100 block of Lorax Ln, officers conducted a traffic stop on Stiver, who had an outstanding warrant out of Round Rock for unlawfully carrying a weapon, a class A misdemeanor, as well as three class C misdemeanor warrants, two for speeding and one for no driver’s license. Stiver was arrested for the warrants. Stiver posted bond for $10,000 and paid fines for $2,940.60 and was released April 6.

Dominic Garcia, 20, of Taylor, at 10:25 p.m., in the 400 block of Sloan St., officers responded to a report of a disturbance. An investigation revealed Garcia was arrested and charged with assault with injury/family violence, a class A misdemeanor. Garcia was found to be in possession of methamphetamine and was further charged with possession of controlled substance, penalty group 1 over 1 gram, a third-degree felony. Garcia posted bond for $9,000 and was released March 28.

MARCH 29

Jesus Trujillo, 19, of Taylor, at 7:44 a.m., in the 700 block of Sturgis St., officers responded to a report of an unwanted person. Trujillo was located and had two outstanding class C warrants for no driver’s license and fail to control speed. Trujillo was arrested for the warrants. Trujillo paid fines for $1,020.50 and was released the same day.

MARCH 31

Freddy Gauna, 40, and Louis Galvan, 68, of Taylor, at 10:16 p.m., in the 1100 block of Grace St., officers responded to a report of a possible burglary. Officers arrived and located Gauna and Galvan, who entered the unoccupied residence without permission. Gauna and Galvan were arrested, and both were charged with criminal trespass, a class B misdemeanor. Gauna paid fines for $1,650.20 and was released April 4. Galvan was released from custody March 31.

APRIL 1

Roberto Sanchez-Olalde, 57, of Taylor, at 8:35 a.m., in the 2000 block of W. Second St., officers apprehended Sanchez-Olalde, who had an outstanding warrant out of Tarrant County for accident involving damage to vehicle, a class B misdemeanor. Sanchez-Olalde was released to another agency April 6.

Darrin Martin, 53, of Taylor, at 11:27 p.m., in the 2000 block of W. Second St., officers apprehended Martin, who had an outstanding warrant out of Iberia County (CA) for fail to register as a sex offender. Martin is still in custody at the Williamson County Jail.
