For the second time in four days the Thrall Tigerettes (16-9) topped the Academy Lady Bees Tuesday night sweeping the visitors 25-23, 25-19, 25-16.  On Saturday the Tigerettes, who are ranked 11th in the most recent TGCA poll, beat Academy in the third place match of the Academy tournament.

Thrall’s Tigerettes (15-9) played their final tournament of the season over the weekend and captured third place in the silver bracket after posting a 3-3 record.  They closed out the tournament with a hard fought 25-22, 19-25, 25-12 win over the host Academy Lady Bees on Saturday.
