Dakory Willis led a potent Flatonia rushing attack that rolled up 399 yards as the Bulldogs (3-0) stopped the Tigers (2-1) 33-14 Friday night.  Willis finished the night with 242 yards on 14 carries and three scores for the Bulldogs.

The Thrall Tigers improved to 3-1 on the season with a dismantling of the Hico Tigers 47-13 Friday, September 20. It seems road games work in the Tigers favor this season as they are undefeated away from Tiger Stadium.

It took the Thrall Tigerettes (19-9 overall, 1-0 District 25-2A) less than 45 minutes to pick up their first district win of the season as they bested the Buckholts Lady Badgers (11-6, 0-1) 25-7, 25-15, 25-9 Tuesday night.

For the second time in four days the Thrall Tigerettes (16-9) topped the Academy Lady Bees Tuesday night sweeping the visitors 25-23, 25-19, 25-16.  On Saturday the Tigerettes, who are ranked 11th in the most recent TGCA poll, beat Academy in the third place match of the Academy tournament.

Thrall’s Tigerettes (15-9) played their final tournament of the season over the weekend and captured third place in the silver bracket after posting a 3-3 record.  They closed out the tournament with a hard fought 25-22, 19-25, 25-12 win over the host Academy Lady Bees on Saturday.
