Cole Harms

Taylor will face Burnet tonight without starting quarterback Cole Harms, who is out indefinitely with a leg injury.

Taylor quarterback Cole Harms is out indefinitely with an undisclosed leg injury, according to head coach Rusty Purser.

Harms will miss Taylor's regular-season finale tonight against Burnet, and his status for the postseason – should the Ducks qualify – is unknown.

The senior suffered the injury during last week's loss to Liberty Hill. Early in the second quarter, Harms was sacked and landed awkwardly on his leg. He stayed down for several minutes before being helped off the field.

Harms completed 4 of 6 passes for 103 yards and scored two total touchdowns before exiting the game. His replacement, junior defensive back Ja'Von Carver, went 1 of 8 through the air for 1 yard with an interception.

Carver will get the start in Harms' absence against Burnet. The Ducks need a win over the rival Bulldogs, and a Fredericksburg loss, to qualify for the postseason.
