Ducks vs DS

DRIPPING SPRINGS- The Taylor boys basketball team found themselves in another tough down to the wire game Friday December 20 against Dripping Springs in overtime 65-63. The Tigers were coming off winning the HEB Wildcat Classic in Gregory Portland which consisted of all 5A/6A schools.

The Ducks fell behind early but managed to edge back into the game trailing by just one at halftime 31-30. A big push by the Ducks put them back into the game after being down by 11 in the 3rd, and by 8 to start the 4th.

In overtime the game remained close, but the Ducks were unable to come away with the win

Devin Garcia led the Ducks with 26 points. Ja’Von Carver added 16 and Ja’Ron Carver added 11 points.

The Ducks record now stands at 10-5 and will again be in action Friday December 27 at the Austin Highway 620 Tournament and will start against 6A Reagan.
