Lady Ducks

The Taylor Lady Ducks volleyball team capped off their regular season Friday October 29, falling at home against Liberty Hill in three straight sets. 9-25; 21-25; 18-25. They finish the regular season 24-17 overall and 6-4 in district play earning a respectable third place finish in district.

Senior, Aubrie Stromberg was once again a strong wing for the Lady Ducks leading the team with 8 Kills and one of the teams 2 Aces. Stromberg also recorded 10 Digs in the match, but it was fellow Senior, Paige Levy leading the team with 16 Digs. Senior, Avery Turney also recorded 10 Digs for the Lady Ducks against the powerful Lady Panthers of Liberty Hill. Also, on Senior Night at the hardwood pond Seniors, Myah Richardson and Abbey Patschke added 7 Digs each in the loss. Patschke also led the team with 11 Assists.

The Lady Ducks will begin their 2019 playoff run tomorrow night in Dripping Springs against Boerne. The Lady Greyhounds finished the season 21-20 overall and 8-2 in district play. The Lady Ducks are 11-6 in neutral site games this season.
