The Thrall Tigers improved to 3-1 on the season with a dismantling of the Hico Tigers 47-13 Friday, September 20. It seems road games work in the Tigers favor this season as they are undefeated away from Tiger Stadium.

Thrall got going early scoring 20 in the first quarter. After turning ball over on downs, the Thrall defense grabbed a fumble in the endzone to increase their lead to 27-0. After touchdown pass by Hico Thrall went into the half with a commanding 27-7 lead.

It did not take Thrall long to find the end zone again scoring in the opening minute of the third. Thrall then added another score bringing the game to 40-7. Hico grabbed a fumble touchdown of their lessen the gap 40-13 but it was too little too late Thrall would add another score in the fourth to seal the game and another road win.

Sophomore, Colter Hill and Senior, Nolan Sheffield shared  time taking snaps in the game. Hill was 7 for10 for 160 yards and a touchdown while Sheffield went 3 for 9 with 66 yards and a touchdown. Senior, Braeden West had another productive night both rushing and receiving collecting 4 catches for 65 yards and totting the rock just 4 times for 98 yards and a touchdown.

Sophomore, Cayden Watson had 3 catches for 37 yards and a touchdown and Mikey Rodriguez hauled in a 48-yard touchdown catch of his own. Hill carried the ball 6 times for the Tigers for 28 yards and a score and Sophomore, Isaac Martinez contributed 5 carries for 52 yards and a score.

This Friday the Tigers will once again be traveling, this time to take on Milano there last road game before visiting Thorndale on October 11
