Friday night the Thrall Tigers shutdown and shutout the Rosebud-Lott Cougars 48-0 and improved to 6-3 overall and 3-2 in district. With the game secured early Thrall took the time to put in players who haven’t gotten a lot of playing time.
The Tigers tallied 350 yards of total offense on just 34 plays evenly distributed between passing and rushing. Thrall QB Sophomore, Colter Hill led the Tigers offense completing 11 of 13 passes 170 yards and 4 touchdowns. the rushing attack of the Tigers was led by Sophomore, Tyreke Irvin who had 57 yards on 5 carries and a couple of scores.
Thrall had four receivers with 40 plus yards Friday night. Senior, Braeden West had 4 catches for 40 yards and a touchdown, Irvin had one catch for 41 yards and a touchdown. Sophomore, Caden Watson grabbed four catches for 41 yards and a touchdown and Junior, Clayton Allen had two receptions to lead in receiving yards with 45 and a touchdown.
The Tigers conclude their regular season Friday against District leader and unbeaten Holland. The Hornets were off last week and enter the contest with a defense that has submitted just 75 points all season
