The Granger Lions season continues to roll on as they crushed the Bruni Badgers, 55-15 in Friday night’s second round playoff game in Pearsall.

Lions QB Thomas Rhoades had the hot hand and wheels for the Lions as he went 6 for 7 passing with 173 yards and a touchdown also on just 11 carries had 74 yards and 4 touchdowns. RB Carlos Reyna toted the rock 13 times for 86 yards and 2 scores. D.J. McClelland on just 4 carries gained 41 yards for a 10-yard average in the game.

Johnny Ryder had 3 catches with 94 yards for the Lions and Reyna had 2 catches for 64 yards and a touchdown. Nate Flores again led the Lions in tackles with 9.5. Tripp Wilkie and Reyna each grabbed an interception for the Lions.

The Lions will play their third-round game Friday, November 29 against Falls at New Braunfels Canyon High School, Comal ISD. Kick off time is set for 7:00 pm. Granger will be the home team and Falls City will be the visiting team.
