Helen Marie Stasney Pyle, of Taylor, passed away Saturday morning Oct. 5, 2019. She was born Dec. 18, 1926 to Lillie Bolf and Jermone Stasney.
She was baptized Jan 2, 1927 and was a member of the 1944 graduating class of Taylor High School.
On Oct. 25, 1947, she married John L. Pyle Sr., and they built their life together in Taylor.
She was a fulltime housewife and mother to their three children. She loved her family and was always there for each one of them.
She enjoyed visiting with friends and phone calls each night from her children after they were grown and had families of their own.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband John L. Pyle Sr. (1976), as well as her parents, grandmother Mary Bolf (1979), step-brother Tony Stasney and son Richard Pyle.
Helen is survived by her daughter, Sharon Klaus (Gary); son, John Pyle Jr. (Darlene); grandchildren, Justin Klaus (Amy) of Hutto, Kimberly Bolz of Taylor, Christie Pyle (David) of Austin, John C. Pyle (Kaylie) of Taylor, and Richelle Wilkerson of Smithville; great-grandchildren, Kyler Klaus, Raven Klaus and Jaxson Bolz.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, Oct. 10, at 2 p.m., at Providence Funeral Home. Visitation will begin an hour prior to services, and interment will follow at Taylor City Cemetery.
Pallbearers include Gary Klaus, Justin Klaus, Jimmy Michna, Tony Michna, Hary Schroeder and John C. Pyle. Honorary pallbearers are the great-grandchildren.
