Ethel Dorothy (Braun) Bielss passed to her heavenly home July 6, 2019, at the age of 93 years. She was born Aug. 29, 1925.
Ethel worked for 50 years with Stanley Home Products winning numerous awards and trips. One of the early trips spawned her love of travel, a passion that took her on many trips with the Granger Road Runners eventually seeing all states except Alaska and Hawaii.
Her hobbies included fishing and cooking for her family, as well as dancing, specifically Polkas and Waltzes. She was also known to bake pies and spend Bingo Nights at the Georgetown VFW.
Ethel was preceded in death by her husband Alex, and parents August and Norma Braun.
She is survived by her two children, Larry (Barbara) and Kathy, grandson Danny (Megan), great-grandchildren Jackson and Brooke, as well as sisters Arlene Marak, Ruth Clark (Ray), and numerous nephews and nieces.
Visitation will be held at Ramsey Funeral Home Friday, July 12 from 6 to 8 p.m., and services will be held Saturday, July 13, at 9:30 a.m. at St. Peter Lutheran in Walburg, TX.
In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting donations to the St. Peter Lutheran Cemetery Fund.
