Marion Gail Ferrell Solomon, 64, of Taylor, answered heaven’s call and went home to be with our Lord Thursday, Jan. 16, 2020.
Gail was born March 5, 1955, in Austin.
Gail had a firm faith in God and a sincere love for her Savior, Jesus Christ. She was devoted to her family and set out every day to be the best sister, mother, grandmother and friend possible.
She was instrumental in helping her children turn their lives around, she loved Johnny Horton and her favorite color was red.
Gail is predeceased by grandparents, Bascom and Minnie Hill; parents, John Charles and Della Louise Chesser; brothers Jackie Scruggs and Bobby Ferrell; daughter Stephanie Dianne Young; and husband Preston “Pete” Solomon.
She is survived by her son, Michael Young of Leander; daughter, Amanda Burkett of Montgomery; her sister and best friend, Lisa Gay Hord of Taylor; grandchildren Ethan, Trace, Jacob, Lilly, Corbett and Johnathan; special friend Eddie Moreno; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
A celebration of Gail’s life will be held Friday, Jan. 24, at 11 a.m. at RockPointe Church, 1070 CR. 177 in Leander.
