Nora May Berg Harvey Druesdow, age 93, went home to be with the Lord, May 15, 2019 in Round Rock.
Nora was born on Nov. 2, 1925, in Taylor, to Olga Kaase and Henry Berg.
On Dec. 28, 1942, she married Hugh Harvey in Fort Scott, Kan.
On Aug. 18, 1972, she married Henry Druesdow in Taylor.
Nora will be especially remembered for her desire to help others. She was a homemaker and spent much of her life taking care of children while their parents worked. She had a heart for service.
Nora was preceded in death by her husbands, her parents, and her brothers, Henry Berg and Wilhelm Berg; and her sister, Esther Zett.
Survivors include her son, Otis Harvey and wife Linda of San Antonio; her daughter, Noamia Benefield and husband Roy of Nolensville, Tenn.; two step sons, Larry Shamard and wife, Amy, Gordon Druesdow and wife Laura of Taylor; three step daughters, Debra Grieger and husband, Vernon, of Taylor, Cynthia Druesdow of Elgin, and Vickie McDaniel and husband Donald of Thorndale.
In addition, Nora leaves behind her three grandsons and two granddaughters, three step grandsons, five step granddaughters, one great grandson, six great granddaughters, eight step great grandsons, seven step great granddaughters, one great great grandson and one great great granddaughter, plus a number of nieces, nephews and friends.
