Tax Assistant Volunteers

Tax Assistant Volunteers help the community save The Tax Assistant Volunteers were recognized for their work to help the community during tax season. According to Angela Turner, United Way of Williamson County Lead VITA site manager and trainer, volunteers helped prepare 750 tax returns this year. Refunds to the community totaled more than $1 million. Earned income credits came in at more than $230,000. Turner said volunteers helped save the citizens of Taylor $144,040 in tax preparation fees.
