The annual Freedom Game, which is always the first home football game of the year, will be held Friday, Sept. 7 at Hutto Memorial Stadium.

The Freedom Game is a time to honor veterans, active military and more.

All honorees are admitted for free and are provided a free meal courtesy of Chick-fil-A Pflugerville beginning at 5:30 p.m.

Recognition of all veterans, active military, first responders and families of those currently deployed will begin at 6:15 p.m. Honorees will be escorted by the Hutto High School JROTC cadets.

Skydivers delivering American and POW/MIA flags are scheduled to jump at 6:30 p.m.

Kickoff for the game against Liberty Hill is scheduled for 7 p.m.
