On Monday night, Sheriff’s deputies were in Taylor and are now searching for the man that was in custody.

According to the Williamson County Sheriff’s Office, deputies are searching for Ronald Luis Scott Jr., who escaped from a deputy’s vehicle during a traffic stop.

A dashcam video shows Scott slipping the handcuffs over his legs and then crawling through a small window that separates the front and back seats. Deputies were searching for Scott in the 1900 N. Main Street Monday night.

At press time Tuesday, Scott had not been apprehended and was still at large. He was last seen wearing a red Nike shirt, black sweat pants and black shoes.

Scott is wanted for numerous warrants. If anyone sees Scott, they are encouraged to call 9-1-1.
