Thursday’s city council meeting will be jam packed with updates on current projects.

The council will hear an update on the street and infrastructure bonded projects and process. This item specifically identifies needs for street reconstruction, drainage improvements and utility improvements.

There will also be an update on Capital Improvement Projects and the Dickey-Givens Community Center. The council is expected to choose an architect and allow the city manager to negotiate a contract to design the building.

Other agenda items include:

- Receive quarterly investment report

- Receive quarterly Chamber report

- Receive update on Development Services Department

- Consider changes to Boards and Commissions handbook

The council will meet at 6 p.m. at city hall. The council will hear public comments prior to the meeting but citizens should sign up by 5:45 p.m. if they wish to speak.
