The 2020 Chamber and Community Awards banquet committee has announced the caterer and a few of the auction items for the annual event 6 to 9 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 14, at the Williamson County Expo Center. 

Scott Morales Catering will provide the buffet-style meal that will feature a choice of ribeye steak or chicken, salad, new potatoes, green beans and a roll. They will also provide a variety of desserts for guests to choose from.

“Gloria and Scott Morales are devoted members of our chamber and our community,” Chamber CEO Tia Rae Stone said. “We are proud to have them serve our guests.”

The banquet is Taylor’s premier leadership event as it highlights the community’s most-accomplished businesses, dignitaries and volunteers. 

Sponsorships are available and are the only ways to reserve seats together. Platinum sponsors reserve tables for 10 and receive a variety of signs and other benefits throughout the evening. Individual tickets are on sale for $45 each. Ticket sales must end on Jan. 3 to get proper numbers to the caterer.

A gold sponsor reserves a table for 10 for $750 and silver sponsors reserve five seats at a shared table for $450. All sponsors are recognized in the program and on table signs.

The program will begin at 7 p.m. and end at 9 and will include a variety of awards including citizen of the year, businesswoman of the year and Chamber awards recognizing the volunteers and businesses that make the Chamber strong.
