National Night Out

Taylor police are gearing up for the annual National Night Out event, scheduled for Tuesday, Oct. 2, from 6 to 9 p.m.

National Night Out is an annual community-building campaign that promotes police-community partnerships and neighborhood camaraderie to make our neighborhoods safer, better places to live. Participating neighborhoods are making a statement against crime, drugs, and gangs.

The city of Taylor has been participating and nationally recognized in the event every year since 2008.

Residents are encouraged to register their neighborhood block party with the Taylor Police Department so that Officers can be assigned to visit and participate in the block party. Block party registrations are now being accepted and are available on the city’s website,
