An execution of two search warrants turned into an appearance from SWAT and a helicopter circling south Taylor last week. As a result, six people were arrested for crimes committed in Williamson and Milam counties.

According to the Williamson County Sheriff’s Office, deputies along with DPS and SWAT served the search warrants in the 100 block of Second Avenue. 

Felipe Salazar, Maria Arias, Geneva Arocha, Moses Ross, Zora Green and Amanda Castillo were all arrested during the warrant execution. 

They were arrested for involvement in property crimes in Taylor and other parts of Williamson and Milam counties.

Sheriff deputies had been investigating a multitude of crimes in the area and identified the suspects were committing mail theft, credit card abuse and fraud.

All of the individuals were placed in the Williamson County Jail. The investigation continues.

According to jail records, Salazar is still in custody at the Williamson County Jail on bonds that total $49,000, and Castillo is still in custody at the jail on a $10,000 bond.

No other information has been released.
