Last week, the Taylor Press was burglarized after someone came into the building and stole several items.
According to police reports, the burglary happened sometime between 7 p.m. Wednesday, July 3 and 10 a.m. Thursday July 4.
There were no visible signs of forced entry, and police are still investigating.
“We had some things taken from us that we use on an everyday basis,” said Jason Hennington, publisher. “But, we will still continue to produce a newspaper twice a week.”
Police are still investigating, but do not have any suspects or persons of interest.
Anyone with information related to the burglary is encouraged to call the Taylor Police Department at 512-352-5551.
