COVID-19 testing

A mobile testing site for COVID-19 sits ready for exams May 19 at Taylor Regional Park in Taylor. A walk-in testing site in the city is planned for this week.

The Williamson County Office of Emergency Management in partnership with the Texas Division of Emergency Management (TDEM) and the Texas Military Department are coordinating free COVID-19 testing sites Thursday and Friday in Taylor.

A walk-up testing site will be available at Taylor Intermediate School, 3101 N. Main St., in Taylor Thursday and Friday this week.

An appointment is not required to be tested.

People interested in getting tested will be asked to park and line up for their turn. It is important to note that due to demand there may be long wait times. Residents are urged to bring a water bottle and a form of shade to cover from the sun if necessary. People do not need to have symptoms in order to be tested.

COVID-19 tests at these locations are available for all Texans, whether they are Williamson County residents or not. For more information please visit
