Aug 7

Jamie Walton, 52, of Taylor, at 3:46 a.m., in the 2000 block of W. Second St., officers apprehended Walton, who had an outstanding warrant out of Medina County for theft over $100, a class A misdemeanor. Walton posted bond for $5,000 and was released the same day.

Jacob Andy Castaneda, 40, of Taylor, at 6:05 p.m., at the Luxury Inn, 2003 W. Second St., officers responded to a report of a disturbance. An investigation revealed Castaneda physically assaulted another subject. Castaneda was arrested and charged with assault with injury, a class B misdemeanor. Castaneda was found to be in possession of cocaine and was further charged with possession of controlled substance, penalty group 1, under 4 grams, a third-degree felony. Castaneda posted bonds that totaled $12,000 and was released Aug. 8.

Jahaygen Alexander, 27, of Taylor, at 8:28 p.m., in the 1200 block of Vance St., officers apprehended Alexander, who had an outstanding for assault with bodily injury/family violence-enhanced, a third-degree felony. Alexander posted bonds that totaled $12,752 and was released Aug. 9.

Aug. 8

Jared Diaz, 49, of Taylor, at 7:42 p.m., at the Taylor Police Department, 500 S. Main St., officers apprehended Diaz, who had an outstanding warrant for criminal trespass, a class B misdemeanor. Diaz posted bond for $1,000 and was released Aug. 9.

Aug. 9

Jedrardo Ornelas, 50, of Taylor, at 12:02 a.m., in the 700 block of W. Eleventh St., Ornelas was arrested and charged with driving while intoxicated, a class B misdemeanor. Ornelas posted bond for $5,000 and was released the same day.

Margaret Freeman, 23, of Taylor, at 11:46 a.m., in the 400 block of Annie St., officers apprehended Freeman, who had two outstanding warrants for injury to disabled/family violence, a third-degree felony and terroristic threat/family violence, a class A misdemeanor. Freeman posted bonds that totaled $25,000 and was released Aug. 10.

Aug. 10

Izella Davis, 35, of Taylor, at 11 a.m., in the 100 block of Carlos Parker Blvd NW, officers conducted a traffic stop on Davis, who had an outstanding warrant out of Travis County for theft of service, a class B misdemeanor.
