Southern Hospitality and Marco’s Pizza will be set up on Fourth Street, and there will be live entertainment by the Chubby Knuckle Choir. Tickets are $29.95 and can be purchased through Eventbrite and online at www.taylortx.gov or at Mezzozah Boutique and Corner Sweets, Amy’s Attic, Sweet and Southern Finds, Liberty’s Consigned Finds, Friends of the Bride, Trouvaille Antiques, Frills on Fourth, Top Notch Properties, Rhinestone Cowgirl, Cherry Tree and The Nest Box, Red Cap Cigar Lounge and Texas Dirt Road Home.

On Dec. 7, the Christmas Fair will be set up inside city hall as well as outside in Heritage Square from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. There will be craft and food vendors. Be sure to bring your camera to get a picture with Santa from 1 to 3 p.m.
Also on Dec. 7, the Taylor Parks and Recreation Department will hold a tree lighting ceremony at 8 p.m. in Heritage Square. This year will feature a 30-foot lighted Christmas tree located in Heritage Square. The tree was purchased with donations raised through fundraising efforts by the Taylor Area Ministerial Alliance. There will be a 10-second countdown before the official lighting of the tree for the Christmas season. The event is free and open to the public.
