GRANGER – Granger High School named its homecoming royalty during halftime of Friday night’s football game.

The 2019 homecoming king and queen are Carlos Garza and Jenna Carpenter.

Garza is the son of Maria Torres. He plays football, baseball and runs track. Garza is also a member National Honor Society, National Art Honor Society, Student Council and Leadership Ambassadors.

Carpenter is the daughter of Warren and Sandra Carpenter. She plays volleyball and is in the band. She is also a member of the National Art Honor Society and Leadership Ambassadors.

The duke and duchess are freshmen Nate Tucker and Emanie Reyna.

Tucker is the son of David and Amy Tucker. He is a member of Student Council, FCA, UIL and FFA. He plays basketball, baseball and also runs track and cross country.

Reyna is the daughter of Dariela and Cisco Reyna. She is a cheerleader and participates in UIL, FFA and yearbook. She plays volleyball, basketball and runs track.

The Lions celebrated homecoming with a win over Hays-Johnson.
