Figure It Out

Judy Blundell's oil painting "Belfast Mary" is the featured art on the poster for the upcoming exhibit, "Figure It Out!" that opens with an after-hours reception during Downtown Taylor's Third Thursday, Sept. 17, 5 to 9 p.m., at 120ART Art Gallery, 120 West Second St. The Taylor artist's work was recently featured in a New York City solo show.

The newest exhibit at 120ART, the art gallery located at 120 West Second Street in downtown Taylor, is "Figure It Out!" The exhibit, going up the week of Sept. 14, will be available for viewing at the opening reception Third Thursday, Sept. 17, 5 to 9 p.m.

The exhibit features the work of local and regional artists and artisans. Original paintings, photographs, handcrafted jewelry and furnishings make up the current show that runs through Oct. 10.

The gallery is open to the public Wednesday through Saturday, 11 a.m. to 6 p.m., with after-hour events featuring new monthly exhibits every Third Thursday. It is located next door to the historic McCrory-Timmerman building, currently undergoing extensive restoration as a multi-use facility.
