The Taylor High School Academic Decathlon team returned from state competition as the silver medal team. They will now represent Texas at the online national competition in May.

The Taylor High School Academic Decathlon team competed in the State Academic Decathlon competition in Frisco the first weekend of Spring Break and returned home as the State Small School Silver Medal Team. In addition, the team won the Silver Medal in the Super Quiz Oral Relay competition.

Varsity Silver Medal – Grace Bentley, who will receive an additional $1,500 in scholarship money.

In addition, each team member will receive $900 in scholarship money. Team members are:

Overall, the team amassed 37,282 points over this year’s curriculum, “In Sickness and In Health.”  Next year’s curriculum will center around The Cold War. The team will also represent Texas in the USAD National Online competition in May.
